2021

Happening at St. Joseph's Mission Church in 2021:

Gary Farabaugh completed his Eagle Scout Project, Veteran's Memorial honoring all of our Veteran's buried at St. Joseph Mission Church.

1983 - Mike Michrina organized a group of people known as the "Friends of St. Joseph's", they raised funds, and restored the historic church property.

1996 thru 2007 - Ken and Linda Morchesky led a group of individuals to help update the church, this included a new roof, electrical updates, new vinyl siding and a new fence.

2013 -Brad Farabaugh, Troop 2066 obtained Eagle Rank in Boy Scouts by restoring "Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto". The Grotto was originally built in 1948 and blessed by Fr. Valentine Koehler, O.S.B.

2013 - Michael Shuss, obtained Eagle Rank in Boy Scouts by repairing St. Joseph's Church sign, painted the vestibule, and added a prayer garden to the front of the church.

2016 - Joel Ludwig, Troop 2066 obtained Eagle Rank in Boy Scouts by restoring the kneelers to original.

2019 - Hunter Keith, Troop 115 obtained Eagle Rank in Boy Scouts by adding a sitting area outside, located by the vestibule entrance.

2020 - Andrew Amsdell, Troop 2066 obtained Eagle Rank in Boy Scouts by uncovering an original piece of sidewalk located by the grotto, in addition he helped to straighten tombstones, and fixed the sign on Tower Road.

2021 - Gary Farabaugh, Troop 2066 completed his Eagle Scout Project, The Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown has replaced all the coverings on the stained glass windows.

In addition The Glova Family has donated Christmas Pamphlets and the outside light pole.
